***Louis***

Alina is late, it's almost seven o'clock.

Penny divided us into pairs to go to the performances. She and Sophie are going tomorrow, Alina and I are going tonight, and Nadia and Max are going on Sunday. Penny said that she paired us up to be the most effective, but I think she paired Max and Nadia just to annoy Max.

We're supposed to take notes, so I have a notebook and pen.

Alina ran up, breathless, "Sorry... I'm...so...late." She caught her breath, "My brother wouldn't get his ass out of the house."

"It's fine, I'm just glad you weren't late." I replied. We walked into the PAB and took our seats. For some reason, there were two spots in the middle of the first row, so we took those.

***Alina***

I applauded with everyone else when the actors came out at the end, but I still was confused.

"So what significance does this have in us finding Mr. B?" I asked Louis.

Louis leaned over, "How am I supposed to know?" he asked, "I'm still trying to figure it out like the rest of us."

"Good point." I shouted over the applause, "What if we somehow fit into the plot?"

"That would be interesting." Louis shouted back.

"No, it's probably stupid. Don't mention it to the others."

"Whatever." Louis replied.

***Saturday***

***Sophie***

"Bye, Mom. Penny's mom is bringing me home. Don't wait up for me!" I shouted into the car when my mom parked outside the school.

"Okay, honey. See you later." My mom pulled away from the curb and I walked through the gates onto the campus. I walked through the parking lot to the PAB and walked inside.

Penny was standing, waiting for me, just inside.

We went inside, and took seats in the middle of the front row, better vantage point that way. We were way early, it was 6:30, and the play didn't start until 7. Penny insisted though, and she had to be there early anyway, because her sister was in the play.

Penny passed me a notebook and pen, "Take notes."

"Why don't you do it yourself?" I asked.

"Because I'm looking for different people's perspectives." Penny replied.

***Penny***

I gave my sister a standing ovation, then flopped back into my seat.

"Notebook please." I held out my hand to Sophie, and she handed it over. I glanced at the sheet, "YOu hardly wrote anything."

Sophie shrugged at me, "So, that's all I observed."

"Whatever." I said, splitting my index, middle, and ring fingers into a 'W'.

***Sunday***

***Max***

I can't believe Penny paired me with Nadia. I will want to shoot her by the end of the day.

Nadia was on time, which didn't surprise me.

Penny had texted me with the suggestion that we sit in the front row, so we sat in the front row. I took a notebook and pen out of my backpack and got ready to take notes.

***Nadia***

Ugh, I'm too tired after all this weird undercover detective business to take notes. Penny will probably kill me if I don't.

I'm going home and taking a nap after this.
