***Alina***

Class was mostly boring. I was ready for lunch when it came, and I went straight to the table where we always sat. I was the first one there, and so I put my bag down and went to buy food.

***Penny***

When I got to the table, Alina's bag was there but Alina wasn't. I sat down and pulled out my lunch.

Louis arrived next, he put his bag down and sat next to me, "Where's Alina?"

I gestured around us at the other thousand students, "Beats me."

Alina arrived then, with five burgers in her arms.

She set them down on the table and sat.

"Hi, Penny." she said.

I waved because my mouth was full of peanut butter/apple sandwich.

Nadia sat down next to Alina, "Hey, who bought all the burgers? Can I have one?"

Alina nodded, she had already started eating.

***Max***

When I arrived, there were three burgers on the table. Nadia and Alina were each eating one.

Louis informed me via text that Alina had already eaten one burger.

"Hey, do you guys want lollipops?" I asked, pulling them out of my backpack.

Penny took one, "Why?"

"I just like lollipops."

Penny nodded.

Sophie sat down across from me and took out her lunch, "Hey guys."

Penny slipped a piece of paper to her.

***Sophie***

I unfolded the note from Penny.

Alina's on her third burger. Should I be worried?

I casually shrugged my shoulders at her.

Penny kept eating, but all five of us were watching Alina consume a fourth hamburger, then get up and go buy three more.

***Louis***

"Alina, are you okay?" I asked, when she was eating her sixth burger.

"Why do you ask?" Alina replied through a mouthful of burger.

"Because you've eaten five and a half burgers already." Penny said, her voice slightly concerned.

Alina swallowed, "I'm fine, just hungry. I didn't eat breakfast."

Max sat down, we hadn't realized he was gone. He was eating what looked like green tea ice cream.

"Ew!" Nadia exclaimed, "What is that? Frozen barf?"

Max shook his head at her, clearly annoyed, "Green tea ice cream, don't be gross."

Penny tapped me on the arm, "Louis, did we get any more news regarding Mr. B?" She was clearly trying to change the subject, but her question acted as a perfect segue into what I really wanted to talk about.

"Actually, now that you mention it..."
