We all sat on Penny's couch, watching the Rose Parade on her TV. We were wrapped in blankets and sipping hot chocolate.
Louis turned to us, "Guys, we still haven't answered Mr. B's question."
"Which question?" Alina asked.
"What is the Holmes Club without a case to solve?"
We sat in silence for a minute before anyone came up with an answer.
It was Penny, "Maybe it's nothing."
Sophie looked over, "So what do we do?"
This time, Louis had the answer, "We close the club."
Nadia leaned forward to look down the couch, "But we're still friends, right?"
Alina shrugged, "Maybe, we might find out the only reason we were friends in the first place is because we all felt like it was our duty to find Mr. B."
I asked the question we were all thinking, "So, is that was we're deciding? The the Holmes Club is finished?"
Sophie nodded, "I think so."
Louis looked at his watch, "Then I adjourn this meeting of the Holmes Club at 9:30 am."
