"Welcome back to school after your well needed weekend, boys and girls." the principal said over the intercom, "This week is finals week. On Wednesday, you will have finals in your 1, 2, and 3 period classes. On Thursday, you will have your fourth period final, and on Friday, you will have finals in 5, 6, and 7."

"Yeah, yeah, sure, we've heard all this. Can we just get this week over with and go on break. Hopefully this whole fiasco will be over before Christmas and my life can get back to normal." I muttered under my breath.

If I'm perfectly honest, I was worried about Penny. She couldn't miss finals, or her classes would be incomplete. Unfortunately, I had no way to contact her and talk to her. She had been gone for a few weeks now, and none of us had heard from her.

***Sophie***

Art, one of my favorite classes. It was really fun. I looked around, expecting to find one of my club friends, for some reason. None of them were in the class, so I focused on my work.

Finals week, this should be fun, strangely, I wasn't nervous for the finals, but what happened the day after finals were over.

***Nadia***

Finals, yay, fun, perfect. No. Not fun, sitting in a classroom answering questions about stuff we learned months ago. I don't think so.

Still, I had something to look forward to after finals. Oregon, I've never been there before, so going will be exciting. Maybe.

***Max***

Finals. Please let me get sick. Wait, but I can't miss my finals. I just can't. If I do miss my finals, I'll have incomplete grades, and I can't have that.

But my mom promised me ice cream every day I have finals, so I'll make it through somehow, if only for the sake of ice cream.

***Louis***

Can I just take a moment and talk about finals week? Great.

Last year, finals sucked, that was right around the time every single part of my life was going wrong, and I had no control over it. This year, other things are going wrong. They're not directly related to me, but I do have some part in the whole thing. Maybe if I do everything right, next semester finals won't be as bad.

I just hope I can concentrate this year.

Ladies and gentlemen, let finals week begin.
