I groaned, happy that I had a free period to just watch YouTube and eat gummy bears. I used to do that a lot when I was in middle school, after school. Since I had nothing better to do, I just did that. Allison had her own stuff going on. Dad did too. So I just locked myself in my room, turn off the lights, and open YouTube on my laptop.
So when a certain blue eyed werewolf pulled me off the side, I mentally killed him. Twice.
"What?" I whined as he dragged me to a corner of a hallway. "I had plans!"
"Madison, I know you well enough to know you were just going to watch YouTube." He said.
"And eat gummy bears!" I shouted, offended.
"I just wanted to talk to you."
"Haven't we been doing that?"
"And?" He asked, obviously not minding the fact that I want to watch YouTube.
I rolled my eyes.
"I've been meaning to talk to you about something." He said.
"About what?"
"Honestly," he said, looking away from me. "I cant- well, this s is hard for me to say."
"Just say it."
"I, uh-"
"Liam. You can tell me anything." I rested my hand on his bicep, in a comforting manner. His breath hitched as soon as I touched him, if I'm not mistaken.
"I can't- I can't stop thinking about our kiss."
Not really meaning to, I retracted my hand from him. "Oh." Was all I simply said.
"Yeah," he said, embarrassed.
"Liam, I- I like you. A lot." I said, and I saw his eyes light up. "But-"
"Yup, there's always a but." He murmured, looking away.
"Liam," I grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at me. "I just- I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. don't get me wrong, I really, really, like you. But I don't think its right to have a relationship at this time."
"Its fine. You know I get it. It was a stupid thought anyway. Just forget I said anything." He said, walking away.
"Liam, it's not like that! Liam!" I shouted after him, but he had already left.
I ran a hand through my hair, frustrated, but still went on to my next class.
;;
Someone knocked on my door. "Come in!" I said, not looking away from my homework.
Scott came in. "Hey. I would've thought you would've moved in with your father."
"No, he's probably living somewhere creepy."
Scott laughed, nearing towards my bed. "Were all going to be taking that big test. Except Lydia. Call her if you need anything, okay?"
"Scott, I'm a huntress. I don't need saving." My voice was slightly irritated.
"You're also only fifteen. I've got to go." He starts to leave, but what I said next caught him off guard.
"You didn't doubt Allison." I murmured, looking away.
He stares shocked at me, before biting his lip. "Actually, I did. Many times."
I didn't say anything. I just continued to look away.
"We'll talk more later. Please don't do anything dangerous."
"No promises." I said, just as he walked out the room.
