Tha pack was all huddled at Scott's house, celebrating New Years together. It was going as normal as it usually was. Lydia yelling at Stiles because he screwed something up again. Malia helping Lydia because she is too naive sometimes. Scott and Kira being a little too adorable for my taste. Liam sitting on the couch eating pizza, while I sat on the floor, watching Family Guy reruns.
Not, nothing unusual about that.
"So," I looked up to see Liam leaning down to my ear level, but looking over at Scott and Kira cuddling on the other side on the couch. "Are they always like this on New Years?"
I gave him a shrug, not having an answer to his answer. "Hey, before this I spent New Years with my family. This is new to me too. I'm not complaining though. At least I don't have to do anything that involves work." With what strength I had I pushed myself up to sit next to him, resting my legs over his.
As I reached to grab a slice of pizza from the box that rests in Liam's lap, I stopped at the sound of a cat screaming. "Madison!" Lydia shrieked.
With a groan, I dropped the slice, standing up and walking to the kitchen, where Stiles had an apron on along with oven mits, standing in front of the microwave. Malia was on top of the table with with a broom in her hand, seeming to hit the light. But Lydia just looked at me with and smile.
I held my hands out on the side of me, shaking my head. "I literally don't want to know. And I'm not helping. I still got ten minutes left in this year, and I do not want to do any labor."
Before I can walk out, Lydia tugs on my arm, turning me to face her. "Wait! We need to talk. You're good friends with Liam right?"
"Well, I would assume. I mean, he doesn't wolf out every time I snap at him, so it would seem I don't annoy him."
"Okay, then," She spinned me around so we were looking into the living room, where Liam was there on the couch watching TV. "So, there's this tradition that I like to do. Everyone has to have a New Years Kiss. So obviously, Scott and Kira and Malia and Stiles are doing it-"
"Are you?" I looked up at the Banshee, who shook her head.
Lydia said, "Oh God no! I came up with it, so therefore I don't do it. That's how this works."
I rolled my eyes. "So you're saying you want me and Liam to be apart of this New Years Kiss thing?"
She sighed, pushing me into the living room while saying, "Your words, not mine. But you have no choice."
Her push causes me to stumble, almost falling down. But I just sit next to Liam again. "What did she want?" He asked, handing me my slice of pizza I've been so desperate to eat. As soon as it touches my lips, I devour it. Only after its gone do I answer Liam.
"Something about you and me and a New Years Kiss."
"Oh, yeah. She said something about that to me earlier. I said no."
I snap my head in his direction. "So you wouldn't want to kiss me?"
Liam's eyes widened, and his face pales. "N-No, I didn't say say that. Ju-just, uh, let's watch Frozen!"
I try not to act offended, but being the teenage girl I am, I stand up, sitting down on the floor. Stupid boys, always messing things up.
Why can't I marry a pizza? Pizza doesn't offend you. It doesn't break your heart.
"It's not that big of a deal, Madison. Stop overreacting."
I narrow my eyes at the boy.
"Liam, I would stop now before you die." Scott comments, and I nod in agreement.
"But I didn't do anything!"
"You said you didn't want to kiss me."
"Time to count down!" Stiles said, barging in the room with Stiles and Malia. They stood next to Scott and Kira, who had finally stood up from the couch. Liam did as well, still arguing with me.
"But, I just said no to Lydia. Not you!"
"Liam!" I got to my feet, looking up at him. "It's the fact that you said it like it was so bad kissing me!"
"Ten!" Everyone said.
Lydia stood in front of everyone, the couples and me and Liam in front of the couch, them on either side of us. She held a camera, smiling widely.
"Nine! Eight!"
"I said it normally! How was I supposed to say it?" He shouted back at me.
"Seven!"
"Maybe neutral? Try that sometime!"
"Six! Five!"
"I just said no! Why are you yelling like it's that big of a deal?!"
"Five! Four!"
"I'm a girl! Anything I don't like is offensive!"
"Three! Two! One!"
Liam grabbed my face in his hands and kissed me. It took a while for me to respond, but soon, after I saw a flash out of the corner of my eyes, I wrapped my arms around his torso, kissing back.
I could hear the cheers of others as we all pulled away. Yet Liam's lips still lingered on mine. "Does that make up?" He asked, smirking.
"There are a lot of things that need to be made up for. This is just the first one." I said, take a step back, walking away.
Lydia comes up to me, handing me the camera. I take a look at it, seeing the two couples, and me and Liam kissing. "Cute." I give her a smile, to which she returns proudly. Then before she can stop me, I delete it.
"MADISON!"
~Just so we're clear, these Bonus Chapters have nothing to actually do with the story. So none of this really happened in the story line. It's just something fun.
I really thought this was cute. Short, but cute. I'm pretty proud of myself.
