It started all when the sun went down
In the sky of our lonely town
On Halloween Eve I did perceive
The pumpkins all a glow
It was a beautiful sight
On one strange night
I knew something forebode
"It's her birthday," I was told
So I eased down
Through the town
To the house on the top of the hill
She stood out by her window sill
She greeted from the cold
In her best of the tales of old
I was an angel
And she was a doll who looked so well
For I hadn't seen her in a while
And her party did beguile
We spent many hours
Telling stories of ghost in hidden towers
When I saw him walk in
With his dark hair and eyes of sin
He caught me in an instant
And oh did he enchant
His voice like honey
His eyes never left me
I knew him from before
But never did I crave him more
An eternity we spent
On stories and misconceptions of what we meant
I was hooked
One look and a few words was all it took
I smiled and tried to charm
And in one breath to my alarm
He leaned forward
Chemistry hit me like a sword
When he left I found I missed
The feeling of his kiss
I was stuck
My heart was a muck
To this day
In the spring of May
We've been going like this
Seven months or so yet still I miss
I miss him every time I have to leave
And it makes my heart seethe
Because I can't stand to be away
When I feel this way
It burns through me
I hope it burns him too
I am addicted to him
My heart, he is in
I can't forget
The way we met
The night it all begun
The memories are brighter than the sun
I will always cherish and remiss
About the night when we first did kiss
It started it all and I wouldn't change a thing
Because he makes my soul sing
It started all when the sun went down
In the sky of our lonely town
On Halloween Eve I did perceive
The pumpkins all a glow.
