Gasping for truth in the hope of doubt
I met eternity in the midst of fall
Amongst paraffin lies
And gossamer truths
We travelled in and around reality
Tumbling in druid fashion
Clamoring for another fix
Another hit
Another trip to Wonderland
He missed it more than I
And I longed for him more than he for I
Tangled in ropes of lust
Star-crossed lovers
Do not mean the same
As they once did in the branches of an oak tree
Bubblegum and roses
And the curls of his hair
Cradle the memories too sweet to recall
And the histories too heavy to bare
