Rock me into sleep
Keep me safe inside
Smudge out every problem
Scrape out every lie
Smoke and purple haze
Fog to numb my soul
Ice and heat to melt me
Legality takes its toll
I never knew the taste of bliss
Would be a swamp and sea
Salty decay absorbs my lungs
And makes it hard to breath
A way to escape the torment
To evade the demon by
Smoke and fire to scare her
Save me under the tide
Rock me into sleep
