"Yes sir I understand good bye," You hung up frowning. Rin was in trouble again. You sat back in your chair sighing. What am I going to do with her?

Two years ago your parents passed away in a car crash leaving you and your two younger siblings alone. Beginning eighteen you took custody of you're then seven year old brother and sister. You dropped out of college to find a job and a house for you all. It was hard on all of you. Len seemed to grow up a lot faster than a kid should and Rin, well she just seemed to lose control.

Now it would seem like she was didn't even care about anything anymore.

You heard the door open and two voices rang out.

"Rin you're dead when (Y/N) finds out."

"Shut up Len."

You walked out into the front hall, crossing you arms you looked at the two. "Welcome back you two." Len took the look on your face as a sign to run, Rin unfortunately was to stubborn to do the same

As soon as Len ran off you stepped closer to the short blonde. "So I got a call today" you said. Rin crossed her arms mimicking you. "So?" You glared, "Rin I was told you were fighting, I don't know what's been wrong but I -"

"YOU DON'T KNOW?!" Rin screamed, "how could you not know?!" She ran up stairs and slammed the door shut.

You followed shortly after. As you went to knock you heard sodding. You opened the door silently to see your little sister crying.

"Rin?" You called in a soft voice. "Go away" she hiccuped. Sighing you walked over to her bed and sat on your knees in front of her. "Rin talk to me." Rin simply turned away from you.

"Rin please tell me I hate seeing you cry" you pleaded. Slowly she lifted her head her now bloodshot eyes avoiding to make contact with your own.

"Do you not love me anymore?" She whispered in such a low voice you believed it was most likely more for herself than you. "Rin why would you even say that?" You moved to sit on the bed next to her. "All you ever do is yell at me" she sniffles rubbing her nose.

"And..." She looked away again. "You never play with me anymore."

You suddenly felt terrible, it was true. The last few years had really taken it's toll on you. But while you were so busy moping about your grief, you seemed to forget that you weren't the only one suffering.

Lightly you wrapped your arm around Rin's shoulder pulling her into your side. Humming a calm time in an attempt to sooth her. You gently wiped the tears off her cheeks.

"I'm sorry I haven't been a very good big sister, but don't ever think I don't love you. I love you very much after all you're my Rinny" you smiled.

"But everything I've been doing is so that you two can be happy and safe, I know I work more than any of us would like but I'm always here for you."

Rin looked up at you with hopeful eyes, "do ... Do you think you could stay home this weekend?"

You thought for a moment before smiling "of course Rin."

"By the way what DID happen with the fight?"

"Oh I punched Neru for trying to flirt with Len"

"RIN!"

Welp that's the end for this update. Sorry I haven't been on in so long I've been busy which I will explain why later with another AN (because you just LOVE those) anyway so I tried to do something different besides romance this time tell me what you guys think.
