Chapter 12

When all 3 girls were gathered together in the cafeteria Sapphire began telling them about what happened the night before. "He took me to this type of underwater cave and when we got back to my house he kissed me goodnight and gave me an energy drink." Sapphire grinned and Myre nodded. "Romantic..." Myre played with her bracelet and looked at Rose who was texting someone. "Who are you texting Rose?" Sapphire looked at Rose. Rose looked up and put her phone down. "A boy I met." Rose smiled and Myre and Sapphire exchanged a surprised look."Rose... you talked to a boy?" Rose nodded. "I do.. on occasion talk to the opposite gender." Myre rolled her eyes. "Yeah, once in A-a blue moon." Sapphire raised her brow at Myre but just nodded. "Yeah, about that time." Rose looked down at her phone. "Last night was the blue moon then."

On the way to the class Myre groaned and excused herself then turned and went into the girl's bathroom. Sapphire looked at Rose. "So, what's with James?" Rose bit her lower lip. "Well, I met him on the bus, he's British, He's hot and he's sweet." Sapphire walked into the classroom behind Rose. "Rose, he sounds awesome for you." Rose nodded and sat down next to Sapphire. 9 minutes after the bell rang Myre walked in. "Myre, why are we late?" Myre sighed. "I'm late because my mum called with a family emergency.. She called during passing period. I didn't think she'd take 13 minutes." The teacher nodded and turned to his computer. "Ok, sit." Myre did and looked at her friends, grinning then a small smile. Sapphire raised a brow. "Your mom?" Myre shook her head. "A... friend."

When Sapphire got home she went up to her room with her mum calling from behind her, telling her to do her homework. Sapphire jumped on her bed and did a few math problems then she pulled out her phone, got on Skype, and tried to video call Cal but her wouldn't pick up. She frowned and messaged him: "Cal?  :'( " He didn't answer so she sent another: "Are you a wolf right now?" Still no answer. Sapphire growled and started getting angry. She was just about to send a long, angry text about him playing with her emotions when his face popped up and the Skype ringtone went off. She narrowed her eyes then answered. "Ca-" "Sapphire! Are you ok?!" She looked at him surprised. "Yeah.. fine, why?" "Listen, you need to go to that place I showed you, ok?" "Why? I'm at-" "No! Sapphire, please go there! It's life or death!" Sapphire's about to object when she hears a bang go off on Cal's side. "Cal.. what was that?" Sapphire's heart began to race and she watched as she heard another bang go off then heard growling. The camera fell and Cal screamed. "Cal?! Cal, what's going on?!?" The other end went silent then someone picked up the phone again. A man with short, graying hair and brown eyes. "Oh, so you must be out Cal's little gem." He smirked "How wonderful to finally see you." "Where's Cal?!" He chuckled. "Don't worry.. you'll see him soon." The call was dropped.
