Rose clapped her hands and giggled. "This sounds just like some totally awesome story!" There Rose sat, wearing a dress that was pink on top but faded into purple, then blue, before black. She had on purple flats and her hair was slightly curled. Sapphire shook her head with a smile plastered on her face. Her dress was strictly black, it too, would have been purple but she wanted what she wore to match the necklace and ring she couldn't seem to take off. "But that's the thing! It wasn't a story, or even a dream!" She looked at Myre, waiting to hear what she had to say but found that she was just staring blankly ahead. "Myre?" Her eyes snapped up and met with sapphire's. "This sounds bad Sapphire. How did he get into your house to place the ring there to begin with? And what did he do around your house to make people want to shoot him?" Myre.. forever the optimist. Myre's hair was straightened, she was wearing a black dress with a blue trim, fish nets, gloves with the fingers cut off, black lip stick, and combat boots. "Maybe he just found my name in the phone book and asked my mom to put the ring on my dresser. And who wouldn't want to shoot a giant dog?" Myre raised her hand and Rose did the same. "Well... that's you guys..." Myre sighed. "It just doesn't seem likely Sapphire. Rose, back me up." Both Sapphire and Myre looked at Rose expectantly. She blushed and looked down. "Well, it does sound kind of fishy now that I think about it.."
"What sounds fishy?" From behind Sapphire came Cal's voice. She winced, what was he doing here? How did he know she'd be here? How much had he heard? Sapphire looked at Rose and Myre to see them staring at him. Rose nodded and whispered to them, "Okay, he is totally bae." Myre stood up and put out her hand as Cal approached. "Hi. Myre, and you're Cal, right?" Sapphire looked up and saw Cal's confused expression as he took Myre's hand and shook it. "Yeah, how'd you know?" Myre smirked. "Just a hunch." She pulled her hand away and looked at Rose then nodded in the direction of the bathroom. "I gotta go, come with." Then she turned and walked to the bathroom. Both Sapphire and Cal looked at Rose. She used her thumb to point behind her and smiled awkwardly. "I'm just going to go to the bathroom now, ok." She scooted out of the booth then straightened out her dress and made her way to the bathroom that now had a bunch of girls coming out of it.
As soon as she was gone Cal sat on her's and Myre's side of the booth, looking at Sapphire. "So gem, what did you tell them?" Sapphire took a sip of her soda, using the short amount of time to think something up. Cal definitely wasn't going to be happy about her telling the girls about what the two of them had done the night before. "Just that I met a really cute, nice guy named Cal who gave me two incredible presents." She smiled and he furrowed his brows. "Well what sounded fishy then?" "Oh, that's just Myre. She makes everything sound 'fishy', don't worry." She tried to smile reassuringly and took another sip of her soda while looking out the window, wondering how long her friends would be in the bathroom for.
