Dan's POV

I motioned for the cheese crackers to attack the boys. I was a little hesitant at first, but I got over and decided to let the snacks follow through with the plan. Phil kind of backed up when he saw the wave coming. Our neighbor who I've never actually seen before, dove into the wave punching and kicking the snacks out of the way, which didn't help, as another forceful pile of cheesy crumbs blew in his face. He got lost in the wave and I gave up on him. I looked at Phil, who looked dazed and confused. His eyes were huge and he was huddled in the corner, whimpering a little. My heart began to sink. I put the hood of my evil cloak down and stood up to look at him closer. He tried scooting back a little when he saw me stand.
"Phil, it's me. You're okay" He looked me in the eye and saw my sincerity. I put my hand out. Phil kinda looked at my arm for a minute and then smiled an awkward smile and he took my hand. I helped him off the ground. I hugged him and patted his back.
"I'm really sorry about this, Phil. I really am." I whispered in a cliché way. I've always seen it in the movies but now, with the cheese crumbs three quarters of the way the ceiling, I felt like this was the right time.  Phil held me closer,
"It's okay, Danny." Phil messed up my hair and smiled. We broke apart and I saw the mountain of crackers had built up even more and was continuing to gradually increase in size. It started hurdling towards us. I motioned for Phil to run out of the room.
"ILL FOLLOW YOU PHIL, JUST SAVE YOURSELF!" His eyes widened. "JUST GO PHILLY!" The crackers still continued to rise and that's when Phil left the room in fear. "Nope nope nope. I'm out too." I ran out of the room in pure fear. I found Phil in his room, under his covers. I wanted to scare him, but I felt this wouldn't be the proper time. Oh well, I did it anyway. I sat at the edge of his bed and shook it and I saw him jump and I dashed out. There wasn't really a point to that, but I still wanted to talk to him.
He came out the lounge and sat next to me. I had a bowl of white cheddar popcorn and I guess Phil got anxious because he said,
"Is that going to be part of your army too?"  while pointing to the popcorn. I chuckled a bit and shook my head. I looked over to the other side of the room and I saw Cat passed out with her hairdryer/skateboard transportation device. I pointed her out to Dan. We picked her up and carried her to Dan's room and sacrificed her to Dan's cheese army. Oh well.
