Rise and shine kids

Busiest days ever

"Kids please come down, dinner is ready" Barry spoke up as he entered the kitchen with Caitlin in his arms.

"Did you hear that?" Caitlin asked as she supposedly heard something upstairs.

And as she heard something upstairs, we went up to inspect what had caused that racket, we supposed that it was one of our kids that had been setting up a prank or some experiment that is highly volatile but nothing dangerous.

"Kids! What in the world are you doing up there?" Caitlin made her concern noticeable when she asked our kids.

"JOE and Henry Allen what are you doing?" i scolded them because i saw something that was in front of them a moment ago and now is gone. "What were you doing?"

"Nothing dad!" Barry didn't believed them because he saw something there and then a blur so he entered the bedroom and speed searched for something fishy.

Barry had found a thing "Ah what is this Joe?"

"Its nothing, well the truth is... Henry could you tell them?"

"Aye... The truth is that we were saving that money to buy you guys something nice for your upcoming anniversary"

"What? Really you were going to buy us something nice?"

"Yes, we all pitched in to buy you the best anniversary gift, oh not to forget the present for being the best mom and dad ever!" Joe and Henry said together to their parents and they were touched

"That's so cute guys, but we've ruined your surprise, didn't we?" both Caitlin and Barry ran to pull into a tight hug their lovely children and then they pulled away because of the issue

"No you didn't, you don't know yet ehat are we giving ya" Henry cleared and explain the solution to that problem.

"Ok we'll wait and see what you guys get us?"

"Hey Bear"

"Yes Cait, honey?"

"Have you ever wondered why does Henry has that pirate accent?" Barry was left pondering over the issue

"I dunno, maybe he is joking about it and loves to use that accent"

"Although my father used to talk like that when i was a kid, it was funny, like real funny"

"Was it?" Caitlin asked with a little giggle that escaped her lips.

"Yes it was. And our dinner is gettin cold" Barry flashed to the kitchen and began to heat up the dinner.

"What? Kids get down to the kitchen now!" Caitlin called her daughters and sons out loud.

In unison they said "Coming mom"

Caitlin and the kids camr down to the kitchen where Barry was almost finished. "Please take a sit kids, i hope you like this excellent meal"

"Maybe" Joe said

"Okay we'll enjoy it daddy" Nora and Laura replied while tugging their fathers sleeve.

"I was hoping to eat something else mom, i was hoping you would cook dinner today" Henry was a bit disappointed of the unkept promise, of his mother

Caitlin instantly remembered, she promised that she would cook today, but completely forgot thanks to the busiest day at Star Labs she ever had so far.

"Mmmeeealll" tiny and cutie pie Bart mumbled at the sight of food. Barry and Caitlin were happy that he had learned a new word.

In unison and evidently showing their happiness they said "Bart my baby that its so awesome, can you say it again?"

"Mmmeall" he repeated as request by both his parents, his siblings were content as well, specially Emma, because she had babysitted little Bart ever since he was born.
