Second and third to her smile, of course.
Regulus liked that she ignored the hateful comments his cousin threw at her but felt guilty all the same that it was happening. He didn't want her to be distressed, only smiling and happy.
Bellatrix was a mean bitch, he knew. She may have been pretty and a girl and his cousin but someone had to stop her. So he did.
He threatened to out the fact that she was whoring her way through the boys at Hogwarts, not caring about the blood in them. He threatened that if she carried on with hurting Lily, he would hurt her pride and tell her parents she was trying to sleep with the man that was betrothed to her youngest sister.
It shut her up.
Lily now looked at him with gratefulness and care. He didn't tell anyone it was him that made Bella stop.
But she knew. She will always know it.
