Dear diary,

Generally, my life is very, very boring and exhausting. Same old shit keeps getting repeating each day. Nothing new. Which is why I remember the days where something different happens.

Like today.

Forgetting today will be near impossible.

Okay I'm just exaggerating.

Andrew and I agreed to meet at Flo's Ice Cream Parlor today for a Physics Project that is due on Monday. I haven't ever been there, and although Andrew has been there only once, he convinced me that the place is kickass. The place is small, and is located annoyingly between a shoe shop and a bakery. Took me ages to find the store. Luckily, I made it on time.

Andrew surprisingly was the one late. He didn't show up for ages and wasn't even lifting up the phone. I was getting hungry, besides getting pissed, and I decided to order something meanwhile. The counter displayed around 30 flavors of ice creams of different colors. I had no idea what to choose (naturally). It also annoys me how choosy I am.

"Chocolate Chip Delight."

I turned around. The only person beside me was a girl with a grin on her face, a very long black plait with blonde highlights who was... talking on the phone.

Not to me.

I embarrassingly continued pondering over the flavor of the ice cream when I heard it again, just a little louder this time around.

"Chocolate Chip Delight."

I turned and this time, she was still on the phone, but she was looking at me. Her caramel eyes flashed between the counter and mine and grinned, and I took it that she was telling me to buy the ice cream flavor she suggested. I nodded and asked the person behind the counter to give me that flavor. All the time I was waiting for the ice cream, I could feel her gaze never leave me. She didn't stop staring. And from the corner of my eye, I could see a warm, kind smile. Not the charity type of smile, but a genuine one.

Gosh, no girl has ever stared at me like this before...

And then her phone rang and it was her turn to be embarrassed. She walked away, away from the store.

Damn.

I instantly wanted her to come back. Something about her presence felt right.

Andrew came then, and Physics occupied my mind, but she never left it.

Plus the ice cream was amazing. Forgetting her, and seeing her again is impossible.

(In short, I'm screwed)
