Dear Veronica,

After that dream I've realized I just couldn't go to school that day. One nightmare for the day was enough. And besides, encountering Laura wouldn't be the same. I need more time processing this nightmare of mine.

Besides I just didn't want to go to school. I was sick of it.

I've tried all the classic methods but they're of no help. After googling for excuses to skip school I found an excellent, fool-proof one. Mum will never find out and if she does, she can't do anything about it.

So, its almost 5 and I cannot sleep at all. I go online to see if Andrew is online and he isn't. Even the insomniac has fallen asleep somehow.

So I've been thinking.

Dreams.

Are they supposed to mean anything?

Do they hold any kind of significance?

Does your mood have anything to do with what kind of dream you get?

Are the kind of dreams you get projections of your personality?

How, does the mind create dreams? How do we see flashes inside our heads and is there a particular time we get them? Oh, what about memories?

There are some questions which never fail to make me wonder (and very frustrated) but tonight, all of them are becoming clearer. The questions I mean. Not the answers.

How does dreaming take place? What creates dreams? Is there any possibility to record them? Is there any possibility to stop them?

If a question doesn't have an answer, the answer simply hasn't been found yet. This is what I've learned in my years of schooling, and stuff like this is somehow more important than how to graph a given quadratic equation. The fact that dreams, and why they occur still leave scientists speechless and clueless is intriguing. Here are five theories as to why we dream. Found it online.

I'm too lazy to copy that shit down.

But the universe's greatest mysteries lie in two places: around us, and within us.

Which makes everything an infinite mystery.

I just got so deep.

Anyway, back to the point: science is so fucking up at times.
