Dear Veronica,
Hate to say it, but mom was successful in her endeavor. I'm used to writing these letters now. Anytime something interesting happens, the first thing I think of is recording that in these letters. I guess Moms know best.
Although you are never going to receive these letters, it feels nice wanting to talk to someone, even though I'm technically not talking. I don't make sense. My fucking school is making me mad. Another level of madness. Sigh.
So, like I did to my friends, this letter is going to be about my family.
We are a family of five. Mum, Dad, me, and my two annoying brothers.
Mum's a housewife originally, but lately, she has some really cool craft making business. She's damn good at it. Every Thursday, she meets up with her friends on our terrace and makes some crafts. She taught them and they deliver these crafts to random places. She's successful and her business is booming. She's unfortunately quite busy these days, but that doesn't stop her from checking up on us and how we're doing. If we screw a test, she's ready to kick our ass and give an hour lecture.
I love my mom, but she's too suspicious and worried at times. Just because I have got used to it doesn't mean I see the point in writing a diary. I'm not depressed. Binge watching TV/Netflix with endless packets of chips does not mean I'm depressed. It means I'm fucking lazy. And what an unhealthy lifestyle I have oh god.
Dad works in a software company. He's reached a high position now, and he's usually busy, almost never home except for Sundays. Dad's strict. Thankfully, he's only home on Sundays, which is a huge advantage to William.
William is my elder brother. He's three years older than me. He's taking a year off and then is gonna join some college. There was a huge fight last year between William and Dad just after his 12th Board exams. Dad asked William why the hell he wasn't decided on what he wanted to major in and William said he needed time. 12th grade was a tough year for him. I don't know the details. Neither does Mom or Dad. But he's alright now. He spends his day catching up on all the movies he's missed... lucky bastard.
Then comes me. Boring me. Plain me.
My other brother, Ben, is in 6th Grade. Since Ben and I went to the same school, Ben is also in mine. It would've been perfect had he joined a year later, so I can get away with my mischief. But alas. I can't help it. Luckily, he's on another floor. Saves half the trouble.
I'm closer to Mum, obviously. She's also busy with Ben entering 6th Grade this year. It's gonna be a tough year, but hey, he needs to toughen up some day. Might as well be sooner than later.
So yeah, we're a close family. We have just enough. We aren't ridiculously rich. Middle class. We're happy how we are. But that doesn't mean we don't have problems. We help when we can. And when someone attacks one of us, the whole family fires back. Cool huh.
So, Veronica, that's my family. Imperfect, but nice just the same.
:)
