Dear Veronica,

As usual, each year, our school conducts two shuffling tests. One in July, and one in November. It's a test to judge us by our intellect and divide us accordingly.

And as usual, I get pushed into the middle batch, out of three sections. Section B. Section A is below us (sounds rude, but it is what it is) and Section C are whiz-kids. They think themselves as super humans. They are nasty and proud. Section A girls are annoying as fuck. Section B is easily by far the best. In my opinion, of course. The rest of the staff prefers C.

Section B is where STAR took birth. We're the ones in the middle. The unnoticed. The one's sandwiched between the best and the rest. That didn't make sense.

Anyway, today was the result of the shuffling test. As usual, STAR is with me. Two kids moved up, one moved down. Veronica and a few others came into our class. AND GUESS WHO ELSE DID.

LAURA CAME INTO OUR CLASS.

Our teacher cleared the commotion and came in and my heart sank. I hoped Laura would be in our class, but she's probably in C. At least I have the TAR with me.

10 minutes into the class, she comes in. The teacher quietly welcomes her, and the rest of the class was glad that the lesson got interrupted BUT I WAS GOING INSANE. I couldn't stop the smile on my face. I was going bloody insane! Laura was definitely gonna be in our class for the next few months! All of our eyes followed her as she made her way inside our class, and she sat behind Veronica. Veronica smiled at her, and she offered a slow, but small smile back. The teacher cleared his throat and everyone turned again. I kept looking at her, and she saw me. She smiled warmly and mouthed 'hi'. I did the same.

My day went good today. I couldn't stop the pounding of my heart. She smiled politely whenever she saw me looking at her and looked away immediately, a slight pink rushing to her cheeks.

School went by too fast today. What fucked up luck.

But I'm so so so happy :')
