Dear Veronica,
The plan worked fine with Mom. She made me sleep in bed though, whole day, only getting up to go to the washroom.
I waited so bad for 5:30. Almost everyone'd be back home by then.
But I fell asleep.
And woke up only at 8 PM.
I checked my messages almost immediately.
-4 new messages-
My heart pounded so bad in excitement and the fear of the unknown.
Those five were:

Tom: 180 ALMOST FELL DOWN AGAIN YOU ALMOST MISSED IT WE ARE POURING WATER ON THE DIAS TOMORROW SO YOU CAN SEE IT AGAIN and he can really FALL
Veronica (you): You alright? You skipped school for the first time today????
and someone from my old school, sending a damned thumbs up as a reply to my text aFTER TWO MONTHS.
My heart sank.
I expected Laura to text.
Didn't she even think about me, not once?
