Andrews P.O.V.
Emma and I have agreed to work things out slowly. She has been slightly distant and she avoids coming to the house. She pretty much just avoids anything that includes seeing Audrey. I wish things could've happened differently. Audrey needs a mother. I'm afraid she will grow up like me, neglected and sorrowful. Seth thinks Emma will ease into everything but she's so young I don't think she's ready. I never thought our age difference mattered much till I realized how bad it truly was. This is what I get for being held back so many times, stupid expulsions. A twenty year old and a fifteen year old is definitely illegal. She does turn sixteen this month but it's still illegal. I don't want to give up on us though. She really does mean everything to me. She is my life. The whole thing with Serena was stupid and an accident. It's true I never loved Serena. I knocked her up at a party and that's why we agreed on staying together. I just didn't want my kid to go through my childhood. Even if the kid was an accident it was still my creation.
"Daddy" Audrey tugged on my leather jacket. I smiled down at her and her cute little dimples showed in return. She held out her sippy cup to me and I took it. I grabbed her hand and we walked into the kitchen. I picked her up and swung her onto the counter where I gently placed her. I grabbed the handle of the fridge and searched for the apple juice.
"Hey..." A familiar voice said. I looked up to see Emma leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. I smiled brightly and she laughed slightly. I was shirtless and I haven't shaved in a while. I know I look like crap and for some reason it didn't bother me.
"What's up?" I asked pouring some apple juice into the sippy cup. Emma seemed very hesitant and distant so I handed Audrey the cup and helped her off the counter. She ran out the room and I cringed as I imagined her slipping on the hard wood with her socks. "Careful Audrey" I called out to her. Emma looked at me and looked down to her black converse.
"Andy you.....you've changed" she said as she walked up to me. She ran her fingers over my stubbly chin. I looked at her confused and shrugged.
"Is it really that bad? I mean I'm just being who I am suppose to be. I'm more responsible. I'm a dad. Am I doing this wrong?" I asked. She laughed and nodded. I wasn't exactly sure what she was trying to say. I wasn't even sure why she was here.
"I'm fifteen Andrew. Goodbye." She gave me a quick kiss on the lips and let her hands linger on my jaw. I watched star struck as she made her exit. She slipped away without another word. Right out of my fingertips. She made her choice. She's gone.
Hahahahahaha the end biatches! Seriously not kidding this time. The end. Enjoy.
