Why am I so emotional?
No it's not a good look, gain some self control
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

Al amin's P.O.V
"Thank you, i will give her a call in sha Allah." Aunty rahma said. She was my mother's elder sister, also living here in kano, I decided to pay her a visit because it had been so long since we met. I came back just some few weeks back from Canada, after bagging my bachelor's degree and MBA.
I smiled, "Alright, bye aunty."
My car was parked outside the house. As i was walked towards it, someone bumped into me and something poured on my clothes. It was a girl wearing hausa clothes, atamfa precisely and a big matching veil, probably around nineteen years old.
It was when i looked down at my kaftan, which were almost completely doused, that i noticed the thing that was spilled on me. It was fura.
Shocked and angry, before I could stop myself, I shouted, "Are you mad? Are you freaking blind? Do you realize what you've just done?"
I thought she was going to apologize but instead, "Hey! Watch your words mister, what just happened was a mistake, do you think what you've just said was a good thing? I wouldn't bump into you just like that, would i?"
Oh God! She should thank God she was a lady, I would have just punched her face right this minute.
She walked past me but I was too angry to let her go like that. I quickly blocked her way, removed her veil and cleaned my face with it, before i knew it she poured the remains of the fura on my face and clothes.
Again!!!!!!!
I didn't know what to do. I was exasperated, scratch that, I was in high dudgeon, this was the first time a lady did something like that to me.
I raised my hand to slap her, well, I wasn't really going to slap her just to intimidate her.
I don't beat women. Never.
She stepped back a little, "What the honey? Are you really going to slap me? You really mess with the wrong girl. Well.. listen I don't have your time but i'll surely give you an advice, you need it. Go and learn some manners, Okay?"
I looked at her with widened eyes, i was really shocked to stillness that I couldn't verbalize a word.
And that was how she left me there the rain beating down on me, I couldn't move, I felt as though my legs were glued to the ground.
****
After i got home, i saw faruq my best friend waiting for me in my parlor, i plumped down on the couch beside him, ignoring the weird look he was giving me. I was drenched and mighty cold.
When I looked up at him, I saw him still staring, "What?"
"You just came in saying nothing to me not even a salam and just look at yourself, soaked to the bone and shivering, man what exactly happened.?" He asked with raised eyebrows.
