Mr. Davis (aka Naru) has been gone for five years. The day of his departure he has left a broken hearted Mai. The rest of SPR have tried making her feel better, but the smiles she gave them never reached her eyes. Her eyes seemed to have lost that sparkly they once had that everyone loved. The SPR group have tried so many things just to bring that smile they all loved, but the smiles they see now we're fake.
She knows that they're trying hard to make her happy and she still loves them for trying. She tries to smile like she once did, but she's to hurt still after what Naru said to her. Everyday the SPR group would stop by or call her and even email her to make sure she was alright. They stopped coming over thinking she just might need some space. They never stopped calling or emailing her. As weeks and months went by though she got less calls and emails, for as the SPR group have become quite busy with their own lives. Something's wrong...very terribly wrong.
