Rewrite to satisfy other's belief for a Halloween celebration: Oct 24, 2001
In Autumn's colour we come to the end, Samhain signals the end of the Year.
In Winter's sleep we come to the beginning, Samhain signals the beginning of the Year.
We celebrate this night of passing, We see the cold as it covers the Earth.
Give us this our New Year wishes, Bless us all who walk this Path.
Praise be to those we revere and honour, Sleep well those we love, whom are gone.
Hail to those for whom we hold dear, Farewell to those who must pass this way.
The Goddess of Fall we wish you Good rest, The Goddess of Night we welcome you here.
Hail to you; our Sacred Ones, Guard well the veil; Oh Powerful Ones.
In these Autumn colours we see the God die, In the Winter snows we live without his Love.
So: today we honour our old beliefs, In preparation for Yule and his Rebirth.
