Today is Feb. 1, 2016
We have walked hand in hand 40 years now,
You excepted this damaged heart to love.
On this day 40 years ago,
We excepted each other as a partner.
And for all the time we have been together,
You have never once demanded conformity.
Though not like most we too on this year,
Celebrate 30 years of marriage.
The longest for me as the damaged one,
And the longest for you.
May we have many many more to come,
So that we can celebrate more years of love.
