Dec. 12, 2001
Today is the day I write an exam.
I am tired and unsure to what I know.
Life gives us such twists and turns,
But here: at 50, I sit alone.
I have studied and prepared.
I will give out all the facts I can.
My memory is not what it was,
But too; I have learned a lot more.
How to expand the grey matter called the Brain.
How to retain that which I have read,
And what I have seen or have heard.
For as a child; I did not read.
So facts are what I need to recall.
With words like: "see man tick" and "phone on mic", running through my head.
I will write 'till my fingers hurt,
To give out all my hard studied facts.
