The holiday season for good will and cheer,

Will be upon us very soon.

We must remember our good manners,

As well as the names of Erich, Barbara, and Karl.

So find someone to hug and wish them the best,

For if you do not; someone feelings will be hurt.

This is what we have been taught to do,

To share ourselves just a little once a year.

Now if we could expand the joy; just a little.

Would not the World we know be a better place?

But once is all that mankind can offer,

In its busy three hundred and sixty-five days in the year.

So have a Happy Holiday Season; and do not forget,

The names with the hugs, and all your good cheer.

For the Earth herself needs all this love among her Kin,

So some form of healing here on Earth can begin.

a foot note: I wrote this in a card for friends and used their names in the spot where I listed names.

Their names were Ellie, Bob, and Nancy.
