We have lived and loved
For many a year now.
We have had a life full of love,
And our share of companionship.
We will walk the paths together,
And will hold onto each other.
But if we hold on to tightly,
We will strangle each other's soul.
We are free and yet together,
Throughout this life of puzzles.
We dream and care our own way,
Yet teach each other those dreams each day.
May the Gods and Goddess Bless us both.
Through more trials and tribulations,
Which may come our way.
So that we may walk for many more years together.

This was written for our 17th wedding anniversary, when we also had been partners for 27 years.
This was also written on the card I gave Wolf the day of our anniversary.
We walk along the path of life
Together and yet apart.
We have strolled through life
Walking hand in hand.
Yet we have had
Our own dreams.
Our partnership started
So many years ago.
Never demanding more
Than what we have shared.
So hear is to us: My partner and friend
May we live a long life together.
