Never

I never knew it

I never lived of happiness

I never saw the light

I never joked around

I never played with feelings

I never thought about life

The nevers of my life

Were always nevers

Until you came

But in the end

Never cannot be eternity

It's a lie

Never will not last

You taught me that

And I believed that

I believed that my misery would not last forever

But I realized this happiness could also not last forever

Just like you

The person who left after letting me know that never would not always be forever

The one who said they would never leave my side.
