There once was a story of a little cat and mouse
The cat was gentle
It's fur combed soft
The mouse was harsh
It's nails razor sharp
The cat found the mouse
Found the mouse in the hole forming in the wall
The mouse saw the cat
Saw the cat on the outside staring at it all mighty and tall
The cat was curious
She wanted to explore
The mouse was furious
He had been discovered
So the mouse took on a plan
A plan of power
However when he found the cats gentle heart
He took it to advantage
He lurked around the house
And smiled at the cat whenever he could
The cat oblivious to the danger had fell
Fell in love with the little mouse
The mouse kept his mask
And unknown guiltiness started filling his mind
The cat found out
The truth could run but it could never hide
So that is the end
To the tragic story that the mouse tried to wend
Because they fell
The happy sound did not bell
Things that fall break
And so did the hearts whose ache was like a never ending lake.
