I got distracted

I strayed afar

Listening to it now

I realized why it happened in the beginning

Why a positive you

Caught the attention of a negative person like me

I realized the cherished things before

I recall what I used to do

The fun of the time being

The good old days spent

Maybe that's what I wanted

The reason why I picked you was because I wanted to be like you

Without a care in the world

And now the sun is still shinning

But it's shinning a different kind of shine

The cold breeze is blowing on my sea of remembrance

But the storm will wash through

And the memories will shine bright

New collections will be formed

But this time I won't go away

I'll come back to stay
