you promised a fantasy
of only us and me
lead me deep into the waters
of what you call safe at sea
but as I got deeper and deeper
the magical waves seemed to disappear
replaced by the ice cold spikes
hanging in the barren tree
you had lied to me
fished me out
and smacked me all about
sat me at the woods
and kept me to suffocate every now
but I won't do that anymore
I'm leaving
I'll be out of the woods
