In life there's something called hope
Many people believe in hope
They're all hopeful
Wishing and believing for what they want
But getting hopeful
Will only break a person down
when reality pops back into their life
And maybe that's also why some people let go of hope early before others
To protect themselves from that possible devastation
to let go of the easily damaged emotions
