Lost girl

The last thing I recall doing, before supposedly leaving the house last night, was running. It was about 2 in the morning, and I woke up for some reason. 

My stomach was burning, and I felt like throwing up, so I went downstairs and ate some cereal.   After that, I felt better, so I headed back upstairs to bed. 

As I was heading up,  I heard my dog Alice scratching at the back door. "Alice?" I said walking over to her.

 "What's wrong sweetie?" I bent down and scratched behind her ears. 

"Come on' silly girl," I said walking back to the stairs. "Lets go to bed." 

I patted my leg and she followed. I closed the door after Alice ran into my room. I plopped down on my bed and pulled the covers up over my shoulder. Alice curled up beside my bed.  As my eyes started to close, I heard Alice whining. 

"Alice?" I said sitting up. "Alice, what is it?" I climbed out of bed and walked over to the door, which was were Alice was sitting. I opened it up enough to peer out, but Alice pushed her way out and ran down the hall. 

"Alice!" I called out. I opened the door and ran after her. As I reached the top of the stairs, I heard her scratching at the back door. 

"Oh please, there must be a cat out there." I walked down and flick on the top light in the kitchen. As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw a dark figure in the backyard. I screamed and hit the lights. I searched blindly for Alice, but I couldn't find her, so I stumbled blindly around the kitchen and dining room. I tripped over  a chair, and I fell on the floor. I started to get up, but the back door opening made me freeze. 

I heard Alice bark, but something covered her mouth and muffled her barks. I slowly crawled across the floor towards the living room, but I heard the footsteps getting closer. I reached out and touched the carpet, and I pulled myself towards it. I heard the footsteps stop, and I felt someone standing right beside me. I froze in terror. 

"Why are you on the floor, dear?" they asked . I tensed up, and I felt my heart beat in my hands. They chuckled softly. 

"No answer?"  He knelt beside me, and I felt his eyes on me. "Well then.. I guess she's dead already.." He said with a laugh. Suddenly, I jumped up and started running for the front door, but before I reached it, a cloth covered my mouth and I passed out.
