Hakuoki : Tale Of Yuki

Chapter 7:

"A-Ano... where are we going?"

Yuki timidly asked to the silent man in front him, who been dragging him by the hand.

"Bath," Saito simply replied.

"Sannan-san said, when you woke up make sure to give you a good meal, a quick bath and.. what was it again? ... Ah! And change your bandages except the one covering your back, he said he'll do that one when he came back," Heisuke said with his hands behind his head.

Yuki nodded, understanding.

.... I wonder why... these people treated me so kindly?

"Ah! Chizuru!!" Heisuke called out to a small brunette passing bag with a basket full of clothes.

"Y-Yes, Heisuke-kun?" Chizuru asked startled.

"I have someone you have to meet," Heisuke said then brings Yuki in front of him. "Let me introduce you, this Chibi is Yuki, and Yuki this is Chizuru Yukimura."

"Yuki?" Chizuru asked.

"Well... that's not his real name but we decided to call him Yuki," Heisuke stated.

"I-I see," Chizuru said then turned to the boy.

".....Yes," Yuki muttered.

They both stared at each other with a curious looks but exchange no words or made any attempt to speak. There was a strange atmosphere between the two.

Heisuke unable to read the strange atmosphere just wait patiently for one of them to start talking before Saito decided to intervene.

"Come.. you have to take a bath," Saito sighed, pulling Yuki by the hand.

"... A-Ano! See you later Yuki-kun!" Chizuru said.

With a smile, Yuki nodded.

Heisuke followed those two after saying goodbye to Chizuru.

"You two are so alike, I guess you'll get along," Heisuke said, raffling Yuki hair.

"Em... she is a nice person"

The two captain stopped walking.

"But... why is Chizu-chan wearing men's clothes?"

"No way! You figured out Chizuru a GIRL at first glance?!" Heisuke shouted.

Yuki was startled.

"E-eh? Is that bad?"

At the same time, the door to Hijikata's room was slide wide open, letting the breeze from outside come freely into the room. Two male was sitting there, one was in quite cheerful mood while the other.... didn't seems too happy.

"Haha, so I was thinking how Chizuru would looked like if she's wearing actual woman clothes, Heisuke said she's cute wearing anything and-"

"Souji," Hijikata growled.

"Yes~Hijikata?" Souji asked.

"Is there any point telling me this? Don't you see I am busy finishing the report?" Grumbled Hijikata, irritated.

"Well~ I was bored"

"Then go bother someone else!"

"Shinpachi and Sanosuke was on patrol, Chizuru was busy doing housework... as always... so Hijikata you're the only one left," Souji replied, grinning.
