Perfectly Imperfect Timing

Chapter 5

Kiarra's POV 

While Nathan and I walked outside the room we saw Dennis sitting in the living. I went near him and said  

"Hey babe what are you doing here?" I asked  

"Just sitting wait Kiarra where did you sleep last night when I woke up this morning I didnt see you beside me. " Dennis replied curiously 

"Uh" 

I was about to explain when Nathan jumped in the conversation 

"Hey dude, I missed you we never met in such a long time" while doing there secret handshake while there in the sixth grade 

"Yeah its like 10 years since graduation"

They have a nice and funny conversation but ended when I interupted.

"Umh, Sorry for interupting what can I get you guys for breakfast" I asked 

"None" they said in chorus 

"You sure?" 

"Yep" Dennis said 

So I just grab a glass of water and cook myself a pancake and sit beside them. 

"So did you guys meet already?" Dennis asked  

"Umh, nope not yet" I lied  

As I face to Nathan he was smiling widely and he said 

"Yeah, we never met just now" He lied also 

"Ok, then Ill introduce you to each other" 

While Dennis introduced Me and Nathan to each other we just laugh secretly like idiots 

"What's so funny?" Dennis asked curiosly 

"Umh nothing I just remembered something from the past back home" I lied as I face to Nathan smiling 

"Yea nothing" Nathan lied facing to me smiling also 

"You sure?"  

"100% sure" 

Dennis continued introducing Nathan and I to each other  

"Nathan this is Kiarra my girlfriend and Kiarra this is Nathan my bestfriend" we shook our hands together while smiling at each other. 

As Dennis finished introducing us to each other and said "Hey Kiarra Ill just go to our room Ill get something OKAY" 

"okay" I said 

As Dennis walked up the stairs Nathan grabbed me to his room.
