joshua groans at the sound of his phone buzzing, interrupting him from his peaceful slumber. he squints his eyes, adjusting to the light spilling inside his room through the gap between his curtains and blindly reaches for his phone.

joshua tightened his grip around his phone, feeling angry at her words.
joshua: are you alone?

joshua: leave now, go home and drink some water mia
mia: god ok mom
joshua: tell me when you get home
