Jack and Amelia enterd the huge house. It looked very rich . Immediatle Emmett came rushing "What is she doing here ?!" he asked . Jack answered "We cant just let her rot in the barn !!" But he saw worried looks in Emmett's eyes. "What is it ?". Emmett looked at him and said "Its Edline, her fever is getting worse" Amelia joined in "Wait, who is Edline ?" "She is Emmett's younger sister" Answered Jack. He looked at Emmett. "I think we should see her" . Emmett looked first at Amelia then at Jack.
The three of them went to see Edline. They knocked the door of her room. "Come in" a female voice answered. They entered the room . It was quite large and had a cupboard, a shelf, a mirrored table and a bed. On the bed there was a young girl probably of the age 16. She had long blonde hair and she looked very pale. Beside her ther was a chair with a woman sitting there . she was in her 50's probably. Emmett went closer to the woman "Hello mom." Then he went closer to the sick girl "Edline dont worry you will be fine !" he assured her. Indeed he cared for his sister. Jack went closer to Emmet's mother . "Mum i'd like you to meet Amelia". The woman turned around to face Amelia. "Hello there child ! from where did you come?" Emmett answered "well we sorta .. kidnapped her ..." His mother glared at him.
Amelia said "Its ok .. kinda i mean......" there was a wall of awkward silence. "Mother she has the golden pearl. i'll explain" said Emmett Finally breaking the wall. he gave Jack a look. Then jack immediately took Amelia out of the room. Perhaps telling Emmet's mom about Amelia was a bad idea............
