Chapter 21

Heyy guys ! yeah i deleted the previous chapter because i felt that it led to no where and it was very cheesy............ so here u go ! a brand new chapter !

No no no no !! please dont wake up ! please please dont leave me Jack ! please dont !!

Amelia woke up with a start, and she was in her same bed, all alone without Jack's sturdy arms around her. "I hate this" She muttered. Fin slept peacefully near the fireplace. "Why didnt you wake me up and why didnt it lead to me going back to Jack" She murmered as she got up.

She washed up and her mother's head peeked out of her door. "Goodmorning Dear" Her Mother smiled. "Good morning." She smiled pathetically and sat on her bed. "Get ready and come for breakfast." She smiled and called her maids and left the room.

"Ms Amelia. Here is a letter for you." One of the maids said and handed her a small letter. Please be from Jack. She opened the letter and read it:

Dear Amelia

Iam very glad to see you back again. Iam hosting a special party tonight. And of course you are invited. I hope you will come because this is important. See you tonight.

                                                                              - James



She closed the letter and sighed. Fine if he wants me to go I will go.

Later that evening:

Amelia sat quietly near the garden in James house. Many couples were dancing elegantly and she looked down at her flowing gown. When she saw this, She pictured herself dancing with Jack. She smiled at the thought of her tiny hands placed on his broad shoulders and her eyes meeting his blue eyes.

"May I ?" James asked behind her. "Oh , sorry I did'nt notice you." Amelia said. "You look beautiful"  He smiled. Amelia blushed at his compliment. I was not hard to believe that Amelia once fell in love with him. His Dark hair, his well defined cheekbones and his Hazel eyes. He was definitely someone you any young woman would fall for.

"As i asked before, May i ?" He bowed and held out his hand. "Oh, Of course." she smiled and accepted his invitation for a dance. She placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled. His eyes were looking deeply into her brown eyes.

Too make things easier, she pictured herself Dancing with Jack on a starry night. "Amelia, Please come with me." James led her to a pavillion. Roses were all over the marble walls. She looked around and smiled.

"Amelia." James called. She turned around. "Yes Jac- James." she smiled sheepishly. He knelt on one knee holding her hand. Amelia was astonished. She didnt want this to happen. No she didnt. Not at all.

"Will you marry me ?" He asked. His Hazel eyes gleamed. But Amelia's were filled with tears. "James............... I... I CANT !" She cried and ran out of the pavillion. "Amelia !" He called her but she didnt listen to him. She ran further out of their house.

She heard distant voices call out her name. She didnt pay attention to any of them. She kept on running as if wolves were chasing her down. Her heart was racing and everything was a blur. Jack ! Jack were are you ! Please help me,  She prayed as she ran. She finally stopped and fell down sobbing.

She burried her face in her hands and cried, gasping for breathe. "Amelia." A voice called. She turned and saw James. "James ! Iam so sorry ! I-I didnt know, i didnt mean it." She sobbed harder letting her tears pour like rain drops.

James knelt beside and put his hand on her shoulder. "I am sorry to. I know it's hard for. Guess i should have been more sensitive about it. Your parents, my parents, everyone wanted us to get married." He explained calmly.

"I dont know what to choose." Amelia sobbed. "I dont want to make you choose, but Jack probbably is gone now." He spoke quietly. Amelia's heart ached. She didnt want this to happen. But she had to do it for the sake of her parents and for James sake.

"Yes, i will marry you."
