Chapter 9

What Amelia heard was still haunting her in her mind . Quickly she reached the house and gave the bread and ran up to her room. She threw herself on the bed and started sobbing . She couldnt take it anymore . Her mind was full of mixed emotions, she felt so angry, betrayed, sorrowfull and she couldnt stop crying.

Jack had not seen Amelia since morning. that's odd ..... usually she would run up to him asking for any help but today she didnt. He went to Emmett's mother and asked "Have you seen Amelia ?" She replied "Well yes she returned from the village and i suspect that she is in her room." Jack raced up to her room. He knocked her door. "Who is it ?" asked Amelia in a rather frail voice. "Its me Jack"

She opened the door with red tear stained eyes filled with anger. Jack looked at her with surprised "Whats wrong ?" He asked. "What's wrong is that my life is ruined ever since the day i got that cursed pearl !!!!" she screamed at him "Because you took me away from my home and my James my paents have given up hope and James is getting married to someone else because of YOU AND YOUR THEIVING GANG !!!!!!!" she Yelled at him and slammed the door at his face.

Jack hurried down to Emmett's room "Emmett i need you to let Amelia go home and give her the pearl neacklace." Emmett looked at him with the 'you-lost-your-mind-right ?-' look. "We need the money for Edline's treatment ! and if we send her home we will all be caught !" "Emmett i need to see her smile again. I cant take seeing her sad all day !" Emmett was surprised at what Jack said ! "Jack you like her dont you ?" Jack looked at him "Of course i do !" Emmett smiled and said "And you want to anything to win her heart ?" Jack nodded " But what i dont get is why is she incredibley home sick after 2 months" Jack replied" Well it seems her fiance is getting married to someone else......" "Jack im sorry but i think you should talk to her and remember the plan for tonight. We hit the diamonds in the Drew's house." " Alright" Jack sighed.

He went up to Amelia's room again. "Amelia iam so sorry but i need to talk to you" Amelia slowly opened the door with the same teary eyes. "What do you want now?"  "Iam sorry Amelia that you are a hostage over here and it cmpletely ruined your life." Amelia looked at him "Yes it IS ruined and i want to end it." "Jack looked at her with wide eyes "What do you mean end it ? please dont tell me you are planning to kill yourself !!" Why do you care ?" "Amelia you dont understand that there are people who still love you in this world like your parents." "As if iam going to see them again......" "Amelia, I still need you in this world.........." Amelia was at a loss of words .. did she hear him write ? did he just say he needed her in this world ? does he care about her ? a few momments silence passed along with Amelia and Jack looking at each other's eyes.
