Amelia stayed with the theives for two months. But in those two months she bonded with every one very well. Amelia especially was very close to Jack. She had a srong , friendly relationship with him but she still wanted James.
One day Amelia was asked to bring some bread from the village nearby but not to give her real name in case any one asks her. She went off to the village which was near her hometown . She bought the bread but it started raining. She had to run back home but it got heavier. A lady spotted her and told her to come in her house for shelter.
She ran inside. "Thank you" Replied Amelia "I was going to get soaked out there !" The women introduced herself to Amelia. "My name is Grace." "And iam Katherine' replied Amelia remebering what she was told. Suddenly someone knocked the door. Grace went to open it. It was her husband. "Hello dear ! quite a shower outside" then he looked at Amelia .
"I didnt know we had company !" Amelia stood up and gave her hand "This is Katherine . she was caught in the rain so i let her stay in here, Katherine this is my husband john" "Nice to meet you" smiled Amelia
"So dear what is the news in town ?" asked Grace to John. "Well since the daughter of the Lewis family if missing for two months ... her parents are incredibly upset and out of hope." Amelia payed close attention
"Her fiance gave up looking for her and would you believe this Katherine, He actually had an affair with the daughter of another wealthy family in the near by town, What nerve ! Sleeping with another girl though he gave his word to dear Amelia"
these word were sharp as arrows . they hurt Amelia so badly. She sat there not saying a word. how could james do this ?! she saw the rain had calmed down a bit. "Im going home . thank you so much for your hospitality." " do you want to go now ? it is still raining" asked Grace "no its okay. my parents must be searching for me. goodbye" replied Amelia . "Alright then . Goodbye !" Amelia smiled at the couple and left their house.
As she was walking back home with a dark hood that covered most of her face she coulsnt stop thinking of what James did to her. She let her Tears fall just like the rain. She loved him more than anything but he just threw it away. She couldnt take it. Far Away from home..... and cheated on by her fiance.... She felt like she wanted to end her life. Death seems more peaceful than life........................................
