Chapter 13

James was pacing in his house. His thoughts of Amelia got the better of him ! He was regretting that he didnt care and show enough love for her. His fiance stepped in the room" Stop ! you are making me nervous. What is bothering you ?" He ignored her quetion. "James tell me." she begged him over and over again. and yes James was pissed off. " Celia, if you dont want to see another side of me which will instantly make you dislike me, i suggest you leave now" he told her holding back his temper. Celia quietly left the room without any word.  James sat there in deep thought. Where did they take her ? Is she harmed? dead? these thought flowed as he sat there wishing he could see her again.

Meanwhile Amelia's headache cured. She went to see Jack. "Hello !" she hugged. "Morning !" Jack smiled. He felt so lucky to have her."How is that headache of yours ?" "Good since you kissed my forehead !" She smiled. Jack laughed. Emmett joined in. "Hello you too" he smiled at them "Hello Emmett" Amelia replied. "say, Edline told me your birthday is comming up after a week ?" Emmett asked. "It is ?" asked Jack. "Yes !" she smiled. "Pardon me but 19th or 20th ?" Jack asked her. "19th." she smiled. "Ok i will leave you 2 alone" he smiled at them. Amelia looked out of the window. "Looks like it is goin to rain" she went out and Jack followed.

It was cool out side and a bit breezy. "Remind me why we are here outside when it looks like it is going to rain any minute ?" Jack asked "Because i like this kind of weather." she replied. she felt the breeze hit her face and she closed her eyes. she loved doing this ! she turned back to see jack. he hair was a little messy because of the wind but it looked good. he looked at her with a questioned face. "i love doing this because, i dont know, it makes me feel better" He smiled at her and walked towards her. She is just beautiful. :) he gently touched her cheek and was about to give her a kiss but it thundered. "Oh no ! lets go inside" she said. they rushed in the barn. Because it was closer and there must something to cover them as they went back home.

In the barn Amelia saw an old umbrella. She grabbed it and rushed to the door.  but Jack stopped her. she gave him the what-are-you-doing look. he pulled her and gently kissed her. Her knees felt weak as he held her hips. she pulled away " Its raining even more lets go before it gets worse." she whispered.  Jack respected her request and led her outside. Darn umbrella wont open up!  "Guess we have run across as fast as we can" he said. Amelia nodded and held Jack's hand. They both ran and by the time they reached they where soaking. Jack opened the door and wrapped a towel around Amelia. "Thanks" she replied. He smiled and both of them ran up to Jack room to dried up. Amelia looked at Jack . She took another dry toel and wrapped it around him and hugged him tighter. "Warm ?" she asked. "Yes" he smiled and hugged her.

Meanwhile James sadly looked at a picture of Amelia. His eyes welled up. Celia walked towards him. "You still love her do you ?" she asked him. James looked at her "It is too late now. iam sorry i acted harsh on you Celia"  James apologized. "Its Alright" Celia hugged him.James hugged her back imagining it was Amelia in his arms.
