I cautiously walked up to the very edge of the forest which circled the small clearing I had fallen in. I grazed my fingertips against one of the gnarly tree trunks. My eyes focused on detailed leaves, all different colors. I glanced past the tree to see more woodland. Plants, strange flowers. Something was drawing me towards the unusual beauty of the nature. I stepped past the front of the forests and proceeded deeper in. I brushed my fingers over the bushes and flowers. I did not recognize these kind of plants. They were very pretty though and sent out a strange air of warmness but also uneasiness. I went further into the woods, the pannier skirt of my blood red dress gliding through nature's children. I was relaxed, calm. But I couldn't get rid of this unsettling feeling. The feeling of being watched. I brushed it off and focused on the nature. But it was getting dark rather quickly. I began to run, my skirt becoming a pain as I caught on branches. Rips formed on the dress as I proceeded quickly through the forest, my heart racing. Hoping for a way out. I walked into a patch where the thick tree branches parted. I started up at the once blue sky which now shone indigo. Bright stars twinkled around the thin moon which hid the sun, I gasped quietly and looked down when I heard a rustle. My attention caught onto a bush which appeared to be twitching, causing the noise. I slowly approached the planet out of curiosity. The closer I got, the more my heart pounded. My hand was outreach, ready to part the branches overshadowing the blackness of the bush. That was when bright blue eyes suddenly opened, in the darkness....
