Chap 19

Andy glanced down at my dangling right wrist gentle grabbing hold of it. He raised it up and sat it onto his shoulder. I just stood and watched. He slid his left hand onto my waist firmly before curled his right hand fingers into my left ones. He raised our intertwined hands up high before we slowly began to sway in time to the music. It was magical as we stepped slightly in circles. Our bodies were pressed together, causing me to blush. I was looking at the floor with pink flared cheeks, biting my lip to try and restrain my grin. I glanced up to see Hatter starring at me intently with a frown. "What's wrong?" I asked with concern. We continued to slowly dance as he shook his head. "Nothing, it's just.....you." I also frowned. " me?" I chorused in confusion. "You're a riddle I just can't seem to read." Andy mumbled with his chilling blue eyes sending shivers down my spine as they stared at me. But I couldn't help but smile at his unexpected comment. "Really?" Andy's lips parted into a crooked smile as he nodded. "Yeah, you're such a mysterious girl, and I love it." I giggled as we swayed, holding each other close. I rested the side of my head on his chest, making me feel warm. I felt on top of the world, floating as we slowly spun among the crowd of intertwined dancers. Being this close to Andy was making me tingle. I lifted my head and looked up again to see Hatter doing the exact same thing as before, staring down at me. "Andy?" This time he did not reply. I soon noticed he was inching his face closer to mine. As our noses were faintly touching, I whispered breathlessly. "Is this a dream?" My heart was pounding hard in my chest while butterflies flew in the pit of my stomach. Andy's mad smile appeared before he returned his answer with a mumble "seeing in believing, my darling." Our lips slowly collided........
