Cate's p.o.v.
I was walking into school one Thursday and I saw Michael standing by the door, handing out pieces of paper to some of the people who walked in.
"Cate!" He smiled as I walked in, "I'm having this party for my birthday this Saturday and you should come, it wouldn't be the same without you."
"Thanks, but I'm busy." I said, giving back the invitation he just handed me.
"Wait, no!!" He chased after me as I walked away, leaving his stack of invitations on a bench near the door, "You have to come!"
"I'm gonna be with Calum this weekend." I told him.
"Yeah, at my party." He shoved the invitation at me again.
"We were actually planning on having a Star Wars marathon so, thanks, but no thanks." I said.
"Well that sounds like a shit load of boring." He grimaced, "Besides, Calum already said he was coming, so you either have to watch the movies all by yourself, or come to my party like a cool person."
"Fine." I rolled my eyes and took the invitation from him.
-
-"Hey." I smiled at Bethany and Annie when I walked into drama.
"Did you get Michael's invitation." Bethany asked as I sat next to her.
"Yeah." I rolled my eyes, "Are you guys going."
"I guess, it's not like I have a life or anything." Annie said, pulling out her notebook.
"He's letting you go?" I questioned.
"He told me he hated me, but he wanted a lot of people there so he was going to invite me anyways." She said.
"I wonder if he's inviting Ashton." I wondered.
"Guys, I have to tell you something." Bethany gulped.
"Oh gosh.. What?" I asked hesitantly.
"I kissed someone." She answered simply.
Annie scoffed, "We know you and Steven probably kiss all the time, but that's not really something I wanna here and if---"
"It wasn't Steven." She looked down.
"Alright everyone quiet down!!" Our teacher, Mr. Thimms said.
"If it was Ashton or Michael, I will actually kill you." Annie whispered.
"Quiet down Annie." Mr. Thimms scolded in his deep, yet still very gay-sounding, voice.
He turned around and scratched the back of his bald head and began to write on the board.
"It was Luke." Bethany told us.
"When did you and Steven break up then?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"We didn't."
"Oh my gosh." Annie murmured, staring at Bethany.
Mr. Thimms turned around and peered at Annie, "Annie, if you don't stop disrupting my class, I might just have to send you to another teacher so you can annoy them instead."
Annie looked at him awkwardly, not responding.
"That's it, Detention after school!" Mr. Thimms shouted.
