"What's that comic book you've been obsessing over?" He asked rather loud, but I didn't care
"Oh! The X-Men?" I questioned
"Yeah, we should go get a copy or something tomorrow after school" he insisted
"All done" The nurse interrupted us causing my head to whip around
"What?" I asked completely dumbfounded, causing Frank to laugh
"See that wasn't so bad" The nurse said holding up the small vile with my blood in it, my stomach churned at the sight of it
"Oh" Was all I said before I looked back at Frank who was looking down at his phone a small frown on his face
"Whats wrong?" I asked, Frank looked up and displayed a small smile
"Nothing" He said as he clicked the power button on his phone shoving it back into his pocket.
After a while of sitting in the blank hospital room the nurse returned her face showing that of pain and sadness
"Uh, Mr. Way? Have you been getting the key nutrition your body needs? Meaning are you eating balanced meals with water or other beverages?" The nurse asked sitting next to me, my breath caught in my throat
"Yeah" I said trying to sound as convincing as i could, which worked pretty well, or so I thought until she shook her head
"The Blood test show other answers, Mr. Way" She said holding the paper in front of my eyes, I wasn't sure if she thought I actually knew what these meant but I didn't
"Oh" I said in a small voice
"Mr. Way we need you to start eating, itll help with numerous things" She sighed as she pushed the glasses back onto her nose reminding me of Mikey.

"Where's Mikey?" I asked hysterically looking from the nurse to Frank
"He's in the waiting room, chill Gee" Frank said reaching out and lightly touching my arm
"Oh, yeah, I forgot" I said putting my head down
"Now, Gerard" the nurse said hesitant on using my name
"We really need you to eat, you're... you're going to lose a massive amount of weight and if that happens well be forced to feed you, and we both know that won't go well" She said in a serious freaky tone
"Fine" I lied, lose weight? I've gained more weight than I ever had, I was huge! And shes telling me I need to eat more? Wow.
"Okay, well you're good to go for now, but we'll need to schedule a check-up soon" She smiled standing to her feet once again holding out her hand
I slowly shook it and stared at her, another visit with her? I'd rather be six feet under
Frank and I slowly walked out of the hospital and met up with Ma and Mikey
"You ok? Do you need help walking? Does it hurt? Do you need ice?" Frank kept questioning, making me slightly annoyed yet at the same time I couldn't help but admire how adorable he was
"And to think we have to go to that hell hole again tomorrow" I sighed
