I watched as Gerard walked away, my heart pounded at the sight of his smile
I turned and opened up the door, the smell of cigarettes instantly filling my senses
"Im home" I called out throwing my bag onto the ground
"Where the hell have you been?" My mother asked storming into the room
"Not here" I replied with a snarky sarcastic tone
"Don't sass me boy" She yelled throwing the cigarette into the sink
"Why do you do that? Its gross" I complained
"Well then get up and put it somewhere else, actually do something for a change" She snapped placing her hand on her hip
"Look around, I clean this house all the time, and what do you do bitch?" I shouted at her standing up... bad idea
She walked over to me and drew her hand back, I didn't have enough time to react before I felt a sharp painful stinging sensation on my cheek, my head snapped to the side and I stumbled back, I could feel the tear build in my eyes, I reached up and lightly touched my cheek as I glared at her
"Oh and one more question" She said a smirk growing on her face
"What?" I spat looking at her with pure hatred
"Who was that boy that kissed you" She asked as she glared at me
I could start to see the devil horns rise from her forehead, as she produced the pitchfork from her back, ok not actually but that's what it felt like,
I started to panic trying to come up with something
"He's a new student, and uh his country kisses people when they say bye" I said cringing at my own lie
"What country?" She asked crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes
"I don't know I haven't asked him yet!" I defended
"Bullshit" She screamed as she stomped her foot
"Fuck you" I said before walking past her

I woke up blinded by the light shining through the old battered window blinds, I heard my phone go off and I lazily reached over for it,

I set my phone down and quickly threw off my clothes changing into clean jeans and a tee that Gerard had leant me a while back when I stayed at his place
I grabbed my bag, slipped on my shoes and ran out the door
