After about an hour, Percy got out of the pool and dried himself off and got dressed before going down for dinner. "Pizza or chicken?" Tony asked as Percy stepped out of the elevator. "Uhh pizza please." Percy replied, sitting down next to Tony on the couch. Tony handed Percy two slices of pizza; Percy thanked his uncle and took the pizza and ate it. "Enjoy your swim?" Natasha asked as she stared at Percy with a blank look. "Uh yeah why?" Percy replied in an unsure voice. "Nothing." She replied, looking out of the window. Percy's phone vibrated, catching his attention; he put his plate down on the table and pulled his phone out.
"Coming in 5." (L)
"Whoa what!? Uh take the front door! They are suspicious of me I think." (P)
"Ugh fine. See ya in 5 babe." (L)
"Uhh hey uncle?" Percy looked at Tony. "Again, Tony, no uncle here. Makes me feel old." Tony told Percy, wagging his finger in front of Percy's face. "Sorry, a little weird for me to call any family member by their name. Well can my girlfriend come over? Well, she is coming over in about five minutes." Percy chuckled sheepishly. "She can come and go as she pleases, but hey, time to meet who ever it is that's dating you. Not that there's anything wrong with you." Tony chuckled lightly and smiled nervously.
The elevator 'dinged' and its doors opened, revealing a girl with light green eyes and long dark brown hair that reached her lower back (pic above). "Lacie." A big smile spread on Percy's face as he tackled his girlfriend in a hug, nearly knocking her down. "Okay sea breathe, let me go, they're staring." Lacie pouted, poking Percy's head. "I missed you so much." Percy said in a muffle voice as he continued to smoother his face in Lacie's neck and hair. "You just spent some time with me this afternoon silly." She giggled, trying to pry him off. "Hey, you planning on keeping her to yourself Percy?" Tony half shouted, grabbing the two teens' attention. "Oh sorry," Percy quickly stood up and helped his girlfriend up, "This is my girlfriend, Lacie." He introduced her, gesturing to her with his hand.
Percy led Lacie to the group of grown ups that sat at the couches munching on pizza. "Hi, nice to meet you all." Lacie smiled, giving them a small wave. "Hello there, I'm Steve Rogers, nice to meet a friend of Percy's." Captain America introduced himself. "Well, as you know, I am the one and only Tony Stark." Tony grinned. "Clint." Hawkeye waved his hand slightly. "Natasha." Black Widow said in her monotone voice. "Bruce Banner, pleasure to meet you." He smiled, fixing his glasses a bit. "I am the almighty Thor." Thor smiled proudly. "Samuel Wilson, but call me Sam." Falcon smiled, holding out his hand. Lacie shook his hand lightly and returned his smile with one of her own.
"I'll be back to eat later, I want to spend some time with her before she has to go for the night." Percy told the adults before dragging Lacie up to his room.
Percy shut the door to his room and sat on his bed with Lacie. "So? Anything?" He asked as he held her. "No, nothing out of the ordinary, but there are some missing. I'm going out later to help as well. Percy, I have a really bad feeling about this. I had a dream, well almost a nightmare. It's occurred a few times too." Lacie said in a worried voice. "But you never have any bad dreams." Percy said as his face contorted with worry. "Exactly, Nico's had it a few times too, and that's what worries me." She said, burying her face into Percy's chest. "Tell me." Percy slightly demanded. "The camp in destroyed and in flames, it was empty. Only, there were monsters there and this shadowy figure. Then, it grabbed me then I was in some room, on some bed with you and Nico in front of me all banged up. And that's when I usually wake up. Nico's been having the exact same dream only from his point of view. I can't help but feel like these disappearances have some play in all that." Lacie cried, trembling slightly. Percy strokes her hair and shushes her to calm her down. "We'll get to the bottom of this, I promise. I won't let anything bad happen to you either." He soothed her. Lacie pulled back and sighed, looking up at Percy she says "Thanks babe. I wish I can stay longer, but I have to head back to help." Percy smiled and lead her back down the elevator and outside of the tower. "I'll text you later." She smiled, giving Percy a kiss on the cheek before taking off to an alleyway.
Little did they know, while they were talking Tony and the others were listening and watching them. "What do you think they are talking about?" Tony asked out loud as he spied on the teens. "Tony, why can't you leave this. Privacy Tony. Learn what the word means. Drill into your endless mind, and give it to the teens. People don't hide things for no reason Tony. What ever it is that they don't want you to know, leave it. Don't go digging around. If they want to tell you then they'll tell you when the time is right, or when they want to. When they think they can trust you enough to tell you their secret(s)." Steve lectured Tony. "Oh come on, I'm the most trustworthy guy there is." Tony snickered. "Loki, is more trustworthy than you." Clint joked. "What ever," Tony threw his hands up in defeat, "You know what? I'll stop. I won't dig." Everyone looked at him with a 'are you crazy' look the moment those words left his mouth. "What?" Tony questioned, looking at everyone. "You? Tony Stark? Not figure out something that bugs you? Oh my gosh, did someone create an alternate universe? Who are you? A spy?" Sam laughed slightly. "Seriously who are you and what have you done with Tony?" Sam glared at Tony. "Guys it's me! Sheesh. I finally found someone related to me, and I don't want to ruin what ever relationship we have. I don't want to lose any family I may have." Tony said, sitting down a bar stool.
Ding. The elevator broke the silence between the Avengers. "Did I miss something?" Percy asked in a confused voice. "No, no. We just had a small argument. Hey, how about we play a game? Huh? Yeah? It'll kinda be like training." Tony chuckled nervously before telling JARVIS to pull up the game. "It's simple, select your weapon, then we agree on a field, and then we fight. Who ever has their HP down to 0 loses. Winner advances." Ding. "Huh?" Everyone's head turned towards the elevator. "Hey guys." Lacie smiled, walking in. "Dad didn't need me no more, said to have the night off." Lacie waved her hand dismissively, walking over and sitting next to Percy.
