"Go get 'em sea breathe." Lacie giggled, pinching Percy's cheek a bit. "Why do you call him that?" Sam asked Lacie as Percy was picking him weapon. Lacie smiled as she remembered the day they met.
~Flash back Lacie's POV~
"Nicoooo, come on let's go swimming." I pouted, tugging at Nico's arm. Nico glared at me and snatched his arm away. "No." He left into some cave, leaving me standing there hurt. "Fine, I'll swimming by myself." I pouted to myself, taking off my clothes. Don't worry, I had a bikini underneath.
I swimming for a bit, but something felt off. I like out a shriek when a skinny boy with black hair popped up out of the water right in front of me. Then, he spit water in my face! "Oh my gods I am so sorry! I thought I was alone! I am so sorry!" He apologized, wiping the water off of my face. "Okay, one: ew. Two: who are you?" I asked, taking in what I could see of him. Black hair and green eyes. That was pretty much all I could see. "I am so sorry," he continued to apologized, "But I'm Percy by the way." I couldn't help but notice his lips curve up into a smile and his cheeks go a bit rosy. "I'm Lacie, sea breathe." I snickered. "Sea breathe?" He chuckled. "Yes, your breathe smells like the sea, or should I call you sea spit instead?" I giggled. "Sea breathe it is." He chuckled.
~End of flash back no one's POV~
"He spit sea water in your face?" Sam chuckled. "Yep." Lacie grinned. "Your brother sounds like a big party pooper though." Clint noted. "Nah, that was back then, he's better now. We had just lost our older sister then, and Nico and her were really close, so it was a big blow to him." Lacie explained, thinking back to how distant Nico was when Bianca died. "Oh, the guys are starting." Sam said, turning everyone's attention to the match. Lacie chuckled when she saw the weapon Percy chose. "What's so funny?" Clint ask, looking at her suspiciously. "Nothing, nothing." Lacie waved her hand dismissively. Percy had chosen a shield and sword. 'Typical Percy.' Lacie thought as she watch them fight.
"Come kid, give up. You are no match for the mighty Thor." He smiled proudly. "Don't take me lightly, you don't have your lightning so I have nothing to worry about." Percy smirked, sticking to the water. Their match had been set at a beach with an ocean, perfect for Percy. "Do not get cocky mortal." Thor said, swinging at Percy with his sword. Percy back stepped and avoided all of his attacks. "Come on old man, is that all you got?" Percy taunted, trying to lure him to the water. 'That's it, keep coming.' Percy smirked to himself as he watched Thor advance towards the water.
When Percy got Thor where he wanted, he charged at him, swinging his sword and shield at Thor who had a hard time keeping up with Percy. "You are fast boy." Thor commented as he dodged and swung at Percy. Percy dodged and blocked Thor's attacks with his shield. Percy dived for Thor's legs and knocked him over into the water completely. Percy proceeded to bang Thor's face with his shield, not letting Thor recover from each blow. Thor managed to grab Percy's face and throw him off. "Omf!" Percy landed with a splash. "Damn, nice throw." Percy joked as he recovered. "That was a tricky move that you pulled little one. Do not think that I will let that pass by." Thor smirked, charging at Percy.
Percy sloppily dodged Thor's attacks before bending down and grabbing a handful of wet sand and slapping on Thor's face, making him stumble back. Percy tackled Thor back down and continued to bash Thor's face with his shield.
Then, everything around them disappeared in pixels along with their weapons. "Wow, and here I thought Hulk was the only match for Thor." Bruce chuckled as Percy walked out with a victorious smile. "Mhmm, yeah, only Hulk..." Tony muttered to himself. "He one beat me because I didn't have Mjolnir." Thor said, picking up his hammer that was on the table. "You fought well Percy, your camp taught you how to fight like that?" Thor questioned. "Yeah, and I learned some stuff on my own to kill time." Percy chuckled.
Tony couldn't help but let his mind wonder back to his nephew and his girlfriend. 'Something isn't right, none of it fits. DAMN IT! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS UP WITH THEM!' Tony let out a frustrated sigh as he took another sip of his drink. "Harder than it sounds huh? Especially for you." Steve said, sitting next to him at the bar. "There is something going on and I want to know what it is, but I've lost your guys' trust to many times. I just want to figure that all out. You have any idea how hard that is?" Tony groaned slightly, making sure the others couldn't hear. "I know Tony, but their secret. Once they trust us enough then they will tell, we just have to leave it be. I want to figure some things out just as badly as you do." Steve said, looking at the two teens. "No one is a match for Thor besides his family and Hulk, yet Percy took him down." Tony said in a frustrated voice. "But Thor didn't have his hammer or his abilities." Steve added, hoping to get the topic off of Ton'y mind. "But still." Tony whined slightly. "No buts Tony, now leave the topic." Steve sighed, standing up and rejoining the others. Tony finished off his drink and rejoined the others after shoving his curiosity of the two teens to the back of his mind.
