Farewell

~Lacie's POV~

Do you ever get a sinking feeling in your gut? Like you know something dark and dangerous, and you feel so awful because you know how it's going to effect those close to you? "Lacie." Cap grabbed my arm and gave me a pleading look. "I'm sorry. It was nice knowing you Captain." I smiled sadly at him, wrenching my arm from his grip. "Please, don't say anything to the others. This is my last request." I pleaded, looking up at him. "I can't live knowing that I could have done something, yet I didn't." He said, reaching up to his com to turn it on. "Then I am sorry that I have to do this." I mumbled before grabbing his face and covering his mouth, stopping him from turning his com on. 

Steve struggled to pry my hand off his mouth as I mutter a curse under my breath. I immediately remove my hand from his mouth once the curse had been casted. "What did you do that for?" He asked, looking at me weirdly. "I cursed you. Now you can't tell or mention my prophecy or what we talked about that night unless I die." I told him before rejoining Thor, Percy, and Nico with Cap.

"Nico. Percy. We have to weaken him more, toss what ever we got at him. Thor, that goes for you too, give Kronos all you got. Captain, I'm going to need you to keep the other monsters back so Kronos has no back up." I ordered them. "Aye lady Lacie." Thor replied, striking Kronos with his thunder. Nico summoned some more skeleton soldiers before charging at Kronos with his sword and slashing at him. "Percy," I laid my hand on his shoulder, getting his attention, "I love you." I pulling him into a passionately filled kissed. I gave him all I got in the kiss... Our last kiss... "I love you too." Percy smiled. Oh Percy, if only you knew.

Percy and I joined the fight, hacking and slashing at Kronos who got upset at us pretty quickly. "Simpletons! You are no match for me!" He roared, swinging his arm at Nico, knocking him against a tree. "Nico!" I shouted out of worry when I saw him coughing up blood. "Love is a distraction!" I heard Kronos shout before knocking me to the ground. "Don't touch her!" Percy willed the water from the lake and made a huge wave slam into Kronos. 

I stabbed my dagger into the ground, making it open. Kronos' foot slipped into the crack in the earth, and I quickly closed it back up, smashing his right leg. Kronos screamed in pain and turned to me. The look that he gave me made me want to die. 

Thor quickly flew in and slammed Kronos' face with Mjolnir, taking a chunk of his cheek out. "You are annoying me! You remind me of my wretched son Zeus!" Kronos swung his scythe at Thor, but Thor just dodged his attacks with ease. "Anger clouds one's vision." Thor smirked, striking Kronos once more with thunder.

I slowly got back on my feet and rejoined the fight. I charged at Kronos and tried to stab him in his shoulder with my dagger, only to have him grab my wrist, stopping my attack. "Oh you don't, you've already made me angry Lacie." He growled in my face, digging the tip of his scythe into my calf. "I am going make sure that the rest of your days are hell." He dragged the scythe down to my ankle, making a gash from the top of my calf to try ankle. 

"Nico now!" I shouted at Nico. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Nico stab his sword into the ground, making it open. "Did you ever think why I didn't put up a fight when you caught me?" A smirk made its way to my lips. "Hell awaits." I think I'm grinning like a mad man now. 

I look back at Percy, "I love you." Tears started streaming down my face. "Lacie, I love you too but I don't think this is an appropriate time for that." Percy said as he slowly approached me. "Lacie." Nico looked at me with that 'what are you doing' face. "I love you Nico, and I hope you and Will end up Happy together." I smiled, grabbing onto Kronos' toga and leaning back, causing him to fall with me into Tartarus. "NOOOOOOOO!" I heard Nico and Percy shout.

The last thing I saw were their faces as the ground closed up. 

"I love you."
